Job Description
About the Role
As a Grounds Keeper at Harbourside Port Stephens, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the grounds of our Retirement Villages around Shoal Bay, NSW.
Your responsibilities will include:
Maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the outdoor areas within the Retirement Villages.
Performing regular inspections to identify and address any issues related to landscaping, gardens, paths, and outdoor recreational areas.
Implementing and adhering to a comprehensive grounds maintenance schedule, including mowing lawns, pruning trees and shrubs, weeding flower beds, and watering plants as required.
Operating and maintaining grounds-keeping equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, and hedge cutters.
Ensuring that all outdoor spaces are safe for residents by promptly addressing any safety hazards or potential risks.
Collaborating with other departments to support events or activities that involve outdoor spaces within the Retirement Villages.
