About the role

Leading a multidisciplinary approach, the role requires strong allied health leadership experience, with contemporary knowledge of multidisciplinary practices, clinical governance and person-centred care. Services are integrated across Residential Care and Home Care, and are focused on consumer needs to maintain independence, function, wellbeing and quality of life. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong professional judgement, integrity and accountability. You will also be able to demonstrate an ability to build solid internal and external partnerships, and a history of driving service innovation to achieve better consumer outcomes.

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated people leadership and change capability, developing collaborative, accountable teams and leading continuous improvement.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and manage competing demands and priorities in a complex service environment.
  • Strong commercial and analytical capabilities, including managing budgets, resources and service performance.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with experience working across clinical, operational and corporate teams including managing external providers and multidisciplinary partnerships.
  • Sound knowledge of aged care legislation, quality standards and governance requirements.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Proficient with technology including electronic care, MS Office suite and business systems.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in an allied health discipline.
  • Current AHPRA registration where required, or eligibility for membership of the relevant Australian professional association.
  • Postgraduate qualification in health service management, aged care, clinical leadership, business management or a related discipline will be well regarded.
  • Current valid NSW Driver Licence.

Pre-employment Requirements

The successful applicant will be required to undertake:

  • National Criminal History (Police) Check.
  • Functional Assessment.
  • Accreditation check of qualifications.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
